SUNPLAST
is an acrylic resin bound, ready to use
plaster, finishing coating for preparing
interior walls before painting. Sunplast
eliminates the use of primers, Neeru –
the messy lime plastering and painters
putty – the most uncertain composition
mixed at the sites.
|
SUNPLAST
is a Pre-mixed, ready to use compound,
putty like in consistency with a very
smooth and perfect finish. It is a formulation
with acrylic binders, selected inert fine
fillers and additives like thickeners,
special fungicides, rust-inhibitor and
preservatives thereby making the surface
more resistant to cracking and peeling
and keeping it free from deterioration
for years. All water based paints and
solvent based Matt and Lustre paints can
be applied directly without any primer
to any surface leveled with SUNPLAST. |
Area
of Application:
SUNPLAST
can be directly applied on:
-
Use painter’s putty knife or mason’s
trowel.
-
Make
sure that surfaces are absolutely dry and
set completely. Clean bits, ribs and loose
materials before application.
-
Minimum thickness of about 0.6 mm must be
achieved for covering the surfaces fully per
coat. Further coats may be used to build up
thickness for perfect leveling.
-
Dries
in 4 hrs. for rubbing and painting. Rub with
fine emery, wipe the residual dust with a
soft cloth. The wall/surface is ready for
painting.
-
No primers required. Over coating can be done
with distempers, plastic emulsion paints and
solvent based matt and luster paints. For
glossy enamel paints use one coat of Alkali-resistant
primer.
-
If material is too thick, a little water can
be added to bring it to a workable consistency.
Coverage:
SUNPLAST
is basically a leveling and smoothening material
and should not be confused with the spreading
and coverage of paints. The material consumption
varies drastically depending on the contours
of the surface and thickness of material applied.
On normal smooth wall / plywood surfaces coating
of 0.6 to 1.00 mm thickness is sufficient for
optimum leveling and covering.
i.e., 1.8 kg/mm/mtr = 11 – 14 sq. mtr
per 25kg bag or 125 – 160 sq. ft. per
2 coats.
Storage Stability:
Minimum 9 months in un-opened conditions. Unused
bags should be stored in a cool dry place. Partly
used material bags should be tied properly.
